Investigated UK financial complaints data across multiple reporting periods using PostgreSQL and Power BI - querying across firms, products, and time to identify where complaint volumes concentrate and how they shift. Analysed 311 UK colleges across three academic years using nine SAS procedures, uncovering that VAF (Value Added Factor) explains 28% of variance in graduation outcomes while contact hours alone do not, challenging the assumption that more teaching time drives better results.
A fraud model for new bank applicants trained on 1M applications with no transaction history. I benchmarked a stacking ensemble against five models, validated its SHAP explanations, audited age fairness and stress-tested it under data drift. It caught 58% of fraud at a 5% false alarm rate, and I proved the simpler model was just as good.
